Virtual Leased Line

Virtual Leased Line is a proprietary technology used by O-Tel to connect SME to O-Tel Switches via ADSL Broadband.
VLL creates a virtual tunnel, giving the point to point connection an SDSL (Diginet) type of transmission over an unstable ADSL line. Due to this facility, a VLL connection increases the transmission capacity of concurrency over the ADSL Line.

VLL is primarily used at exchanges where DSLAMs are over subscribed, regular connections for clients wanting better quality voice, and very much used in Call Centre environments where infrastructure costsĀ and call quality play a major role.
Clients compare the quality with and without VLL as ‘Chalk & Cheese’. Once clients receive the taste of VLL, they insist on its implementation at all their branches.
VLL Requires a proprietary router to function, and also requires concurrency licenses. Enquire from your O-Tel Agent for further details.
