VLL -Data

Virtual Leased Line is a proprietary technology used by O-Tel to connect SME to O-Tel Switches via ADSL Broadband.

VLL combines multiple broadband connections and creates a virtual tunnel, giving the point to point connection an SDSL (Diginet) type of transmission.

If a client wishes to have a fast Internet connection, he can connect 4x broadband connections, (either ADSL, 3G, WI-MAX, WIFI and others), to a proprietary VLL router. This router will amalgamate the inputs from point A into one massive tunnel and pushes the data through to point B. The VLL Router is placed at clients premises with the VLL server accepting it’s MAC address. Once connected, authorization is given, and the tunnel is created.

This can be used for Server connections from branches, Voice, or for serious internet downloaders. Although O-Tel focuses more on having VLL-Data as an SDSL replacement due to the massive difference in costs.

VLL Requires a proprietary router to function, and also requires concurrency licenses.
