What did you want to be when you grow up?

My primary schooling was in a French school. The school I went to had a subscription with a Children’s magazine called “ASTRAPI”. This magazine was designed to stimulate a child’s imagination and curiosity. With very interesting themes, my mind changed from being a dinosaur rider, to historian, to helicopter pilot and racing car driver. It however was the main reason for my extensive creativity today, which allows me to be in the forefront and lead in my business ventures.

What do you love most about your job?

Everything about it… from the challenges of a slow and inept telecom regulator, to seeing the smiles on a client’s face when he’s saved 40% of his phone bill, received world class service and made a friend. The job is truly satisfying, especially when I need to research and implement new technology to stay abreast of the competition.

What do you think the internet market needs the most right now?

From the days of logging on via SLIP and PPP to now simply switching on your laptop and letting the 3G modem connect you automatically, the internet is continuously evolving. However, I think mobility is very important. Cloud Base computing is growing by the day, telecommunications has a new life and digital solutions will soon enter every industry in the world. This can only be done if the internet goes with you everywhere instead of having access only when you get back to the office or home. In fact, it should be in your car too!
