KZN Roadshow
The roadshow started from Bethlehem, Ladysmith, Pietermaritzburg, Amanzimtoti,
Durban, Umhlanga, Mooi River, Richards Bay, Pinetown. The main purpose for the
visit was to strengthen and cement business relationships also to establish new
partnershipsThe team was well received by our KZN Channel Partners. OTEL has empowered
new channel partners  to establish and control their localized VoIP network. Once again the TVNO was well received as it is a product that fits hands in glove with service
providers requirements.NGN for KZN: 

Fibre was a roaring success because of lack of availability in areas where fiber was not
available OTEL will deploy backhaul services via microwave.The areas where we
could not assist, we deploy premium leased line over copper with a minimum of 1mb up to 2mb maximum

Centrex 2.0 Upgrade
OTEL Telecoms has been in beta testing of the Centrex 2.0 for the past few months and have succeded with the project. OTEL has this service available on a pre-release. Centrex has undergone an upgrade and we no longer have Centrex as an application but as an integrated dialbar in MS Windows. The upgraded service can now function in larger call centre environment. The Centrex directly connects to Victoria. The Centrex licensing structure has been upgraded to accommodate short term campaign based projects.
IFSEC Exibition Event
OTEL to exibit at SA premium security IFSEC 18th to 28th June 2013 at Gallagher Convention Centre. This is to accommodate a large number of clients who provide services to the security industry. Fibre based leased line provides point to point connection for offsite CCTV Monitoring. Also on show is the Bluebox call recording facility which is available for inbound and outbound call centres. This will allow the clients to monitor activities within the security call centres and control rooms.
TVNO 2.0
TVNO 2 has promoted itself to become OTEL’s flagship product by gaining market traction nationally. We have exponential growth and positive feedback from clients who are already using it as it provides them with more control over their localized networks.
OTEL will be hosting regular Webinars to illustrate various services. Watch this space for invitations.


Sentinel Upgraded
OTEL Sentinel has undergone an upgrade. Calls can now be listened to live.
There are many other under the bonnet changes which were made to increase the performance of Sentinel.
Managed Backup
OTEL Telecoms has dedicated technicians for the sole purpose of managing backups on the TVNO 2. This is aimed to offer our channel partners peace of mind.
Branded Softphones.
OTEL Telecoms offers branded softphones for TVNO channel partners. The following platforms are available.
